The Challenge


York Transmissions contacted us in fall of 2022 with concerns about how to address their outdated website. They had experienced many changes in staff, and also needed to update their services and service descriptions. In short, their previous website was not serving customers, nor the business at the time they reached out to us.

What We Did


We began the project with an onsite visit to meet with stakeholders and identify key objectives. Once we knew desired outcomes, we got to work selecting a layout and format that served the basic flow and function of the services offered at York Transmissions.


What We Achieved


Once we established the best approach to onboarding new customers and getting them connected to the team, we got to work selecting the imagery and color scheme that suited the brand.

Since there was no branding guide previously available, we based it off the building (red & white) and brand collateral, which is the set of gears pictured on the website snapshot above. We then crafted a header, footer, and body copy for the homepage, driving traffic to the online "appointment booking form," which provides prospective customers with the ability to reach out for help without needing to pick up the phone!

We also analyzed their Google Business reviews, and placed a few of the strongest reviews (a tough task, because there are over forty 5-Star Reviews) to display on the homepage.

Finally, we integrated convenient click to call and direction options, for ease of contact outside of the online form. In total, this resulted in 15 requests for work within the first 30 days the new site was live, utilizing entirely organic results.*
